Unable to view Journal in Store Operations Manager or odd text format

The Journal relies on the default Windows printer assigned to the PC to display journal contents. 

From the Windos desktop select Start, All Programs, Control Panel, Devices & Printers. Make sure a valid report printer driver is assigned as the default Windows printer. If no driver exists, add the Microsoft XPS driver and assign that as the default.

Close Manager and go back in.

TIP: Do NOT install a dedicated barcode label printer as the default Windows printer. The default printer should be a standard report printer or XPS or PDF driver.
