How do I replace a PIN pad that is not PCI compliant?

If you receive a notice your PIN pad is not PCI compliant -- please follow these instructons.

Contact POSData at 800-426-4004 to order a PCI compliant replacement to match the PIN pad you have now (USB or serial) with injection type required for your processor.
Injection alone won't make the device PCI compliant. You'll need a replacement PIN pad if your current model is not PCI compliant to present standards. POSData can advise you on this if you provide them with your model number.

IMPORTANT: If your PIN pad is 9 pin serial, make sure to order a serial COM port device (not USB).

WARNING: When replacement unit is received, shutdown the PC, install new device, turn PC back on. Do NOT hotswap the device while PC is powered on.
