When I double-click on POS or Manager nothing happens.

This situation may occur if you start POS or Manager twice quickly in a row.

First make sure Store Operations is not already running in the Task Tray.

Next press Ctrl-Alt-Del and see if Store Operations is listed. If so, select End Task. Now try running the operation again.

When you first install Store Operations it will load quickly with an empty database. Once your system is setup and loaded with inventory and customers, the database will take longer to initialize, especially from workstations over the network. BE PATIENT as your PC connects to your SQL Server database.

Please make sure to double-click only once. An hourglass will appear briefly. Now WAIT for the login screen to appear. If the login does not appear, follow the procedure above to end the task and restart.
