Labels printed for matrix items created using the New Item Wizard and AutoGen do not scan in at POS.

If you set AutoGen to AC and your dept/category prefix is 4 characters, plus 4 digits for the sequential number, this will result in 14 character Item Lookup Codes when AC is deployed in the New Item Wizard to create matrix items.

The default DRS Cognitive barcode label format is limited to 12 character ILCs.

Resolution: Download the label format below into the folder called Program Files, Microsoft Retail Management System, Store Operations, Labels. Answer Yes to overwrite existing file.

This updated label format will accomodate 14 character ILCs by reducing the left margin on the barcode line.
