"Get updates for other MS products" does not work on Windows 7 (no checkbox appears)

If Windows Updates is not allowing option to select Other MS programs first make sure IE is the default browser and make this change --

Tools, Compatibility View Settings, add microsoft.com to the list and enable both check both boxes (if not already enabled), then close IE.
